Society is not the name of a single person or a single family but is made up of many families and different sections of society. Woman is also an essential element of this society. Her status is not only that of a woman but she is a writer, a poet, a philosopher, a journalist, a politician and possesses other status. He is also mentally no less than men. Therefore, the responsibility for the deterioration of society and its reform and welfare rests with both (men and women). Just as a man cannot abdicate his responsibility to society, so a woman cannot abdicate her responsibility.

Struggle in the field of education

Since independence, countless women have made significant contributions in the field of education through their personal efforts to promote India's social and cultural activities. Through their personal hard work, women established important educational institutions. Spread the network of technical schools. Arranged education for poor girls. Thanks to this education, women have raised their voices for educated girls to be given jobs. Today woman has succeeded in the field of education and playing her role as  a teacher, headmistress, lawyer,  as a judge and reforming the society.

The political role of women in society

Women's achievements in politics are also significant. Initially, women were kept out of politics. Due to which, in the beginning, women were unable to perform significant services in the political arena. Only a few affluent women could get  education and were allowed to participate in political activities. In practical sense, women entered politics when the Khilafat movement started in India and almost all the male leaders were in jails. There was a danger that the movement would die down. Maulana Muhammad Ali's mother led potitics. In this way, Muslim women stepped into politics in the true sense  and these women became true political leaders.
Begum Rana Liaquat Ali Khan, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah and many similar women continued the political process even after independence. And be at the forefront of women's rights. After that, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto also had an important and clear role in Pakistan's politics. Who had the honour of becoming the Prime Minister for the first time in the history of Pakistan. The late Benazir Bhutto took many steps for the rights of women. Be it in the field of education or in the field of politics or economy, Benazir Bhutto had done countless works for the rights of women.
Even today, many women are MNAs and MPAs. There are also some federal and provincial ministers.

The movements of women in the history of Pakistan for the advancement of education and the restoration of political and social rights have had an impact on the normal life of the country. It affected the whole country. In this day and age, the role of women in any field can be seen in a positive light. In today of 21st century society, the role of women is indispensable. Women are working alongside men in society. The status of a woman is as important today as the wheel of a car.
