Women Romantic writers

Romanticism  in the  women's Urdu literature(Novels) in Pakistan

Romance novels flourished in women's literature because the focus of romance novels is on women's love and emotions.

Only women can express women's psychology and emotions better than men. Therefore, they are superior to men in this field.
Main difference between men novelists and women novelists is that of style and emotions. The majority of romantic novelists are women. In their novels, the tragic events of the separation of the parties and their intense impressions and then the death of the characters are used with great emotion.

Among the female novelists who wrote romance stories  are Esmat Choghtai,Razia Butt, Amna Abul Hassan, Hijab Imtiaz Ali, Wajeda Tabassum And Umairah Ahmed.......their novels are especially romantic. Apart from this, there are many other romantic novelists but only a few are mentioned here.

The subject matter of Ismat Chughtai's novels is emotion and love. The subject of love was eloquently described by Asmat. Whether her novel is Stubborn(Ziddi),The Crooked Line(Terhi lakeer) or The World of the Heart(Dil ki Dunya) She focuses on the world of young girls from middle-class Muslim families, their issues and their psychology. The home environment of Asmat, where she was brought up, helped in the development of this tendency.

Razia Butt is considered a romantic female novelist. His novel "Naila" is a very popular novel. Heroine of novel is Naila. She was the queen of beauty. The story that consists of the plot of love and romance is the same romance. Emotions are also seen.

Amna Abul Hassan is one of the famous novelists of women's literature. "Return"(Wapsi) is her romantic novel, which came to light in 1981. There are three characters. The style is filmy. There is beauty in style. Emotions, which are characteristic of romantic literature, are beautifully expressed in Amna Abul Hassan's novel Return.

Hijab Imtiaz Ali's novel "My Unrequited Love" is a beautiful romantic novel. Both the story and the characters are interesting. This novel was printed from Lahore. Hijab Imtiaz Ali has gone beyond feminist reform in novel writing. Most of her novels are romantic as well as corrective.

Wajida Tabassum is a romantic novelist. The style of her stories is like a long stories of myth. Nose is the basis of their stories. Honor of the Nose, Burden of the Nose, Wound of the Nose  are her best novels. These novels are in the form of a series. Her novels can be called commercial novels because her novels sold well because of gender and emotion.

Umairah Ahmed's novels are also romantic novels. Here too the same emotions, separation, failure in love can be felt. In her novels, "Man-o-Salva" is very important. In which Heroine named as  Zeni takes revenge for the failure of love  from herself and does everything that does not beautify a woman. But the end is very good and she emerges as a successful diamond and earns a lot of respect and fame.

Romance novels in women's literature can also be called commercial novels because they are the product of society and they are the voice of society. The average reader reads these novels well. So the sale of romance novels is also good.

In this way we can say that romance novels contain love and emotion and this is the emotion and love that is characteristic of women. When a woman expresses these feelings orally, it is very close to reality. Thus there is a role for women novelists in romantic literature.
